The Trial

In this documentary, two lawyers guide the viewer through the labyrinth that is the trial of their lives: marc dutroux’s flamboyant barrister mr baudewijn and mr quirynen, the dedicated barrister who represented paul marchal, the father of an marchal, one of the victims of marc dutroux. How can a barrister continue to fulfil his role in the face of such atrocity? Reporter luc haekens followed them up close for six months.
