World Championships Cyclocross In Zolder
On 2 and 3 february 2002, the race track in zolder, belgium, hosted the world cyclocross championships. The flemish public broadcasting company vrt aired the event live and in its entirety. Before and after each race, mark uytterhoeven hosted a show from a specially constructed tv studio in the pit lane that gave the guests and the studio audience a view of the final straight.
Together with cycling legend roger de vlaeminck he welcomed numerous guests from the world of cycling for previews and discussions after the race.
