Vive le Tour
Vive le tour kept close track of the 2004 edition of the tour de france. Always with the right degree of local colour and a perfect cocktail of atmospheric images, stage reports, interviews, analyses, special reports and conversations with people who were somehow connected with the tour.
Martin heylen hosts the talk show from an attractive location near the arrival or departure point of that day’s stage. He enlisted the help of stock market guru and former cycling journalist paul d’hoore, who monitored the peloton from the back of a motorcycle. Paul talked to racers, team managers and followers, and in the evening he recounted the day’s stage in ‘vive le tour’.
